Description
Navels are one of the most popular orange varieties in Australia and available during the winter from June – October. They are sweet and juicy, rich in orange colour, mostly seedless and easy to peel.
Most people don't realise that the orange was named after the human navel because on the outside of the fruit there is an indentation that looks like a human navel, or bellybutton.
During the Summer months (when Navels are not in season in Australia the oranges usually come from the USA)
