Gold kiwifruit has a bronzed, smooth, hairless paper-thin skin. The golden flesh is dotted with the trademark edible black seeds. Its flavors are sweet and tropical with notes of pineapple and mango.The entire Gold kiwi fruit is edible. Golden kiwi is also softer than a green kiwifruit so cutting golden kiwi into chunks and stirring in a fruit salad could cause it to break apart. It requires a gentler approach than the green kiwi.
